After getting outta bed this morning, my parents informed me that i had to go pay the electricity bill. Of course on my way past the ATM machine, stupid Win98 or whatever that thing is running had crashed -- use *NIX plz -- so i had to head back home and get some cash i have laying around cause i've been to lazy to put it into my bank account.
Anyway, i brought the digital camera with me cause its 10 min walk down to the port where the power company is, and i didn't feel like walking back up to the top of the mountain where the village is located on this island... which means i'd have to wait for the bus (comes about once an hour winter time :P). I figured i could kill some time taking some pics...
...so here's a few of the random pics i took...

random rant post, titled after initial posting...
well, whacha know, i created a blog late last night while tired and bored... oh well, not really that surpricing considering myself :P...
i've just woken up here, more or less... laying in my bed with my laptop -- i love my PowerBook :D -- not really doing anything as i'm still not capable of real logical thought since i'm still tired and sleepy... maybe bashing my head in the wall will help, but probably hurt... oh well... lol :P
i figure, since i recently played around with Flickr's photo service, and we're getting close to valentine's day (if thats how you actually spell it... lol :P), i could show some pics i took on valentine's day last year...

Apple PowerBook G5 around the corner?
The Register has a story about some hidden HTML code on Apple's website, hinting that G5 PowerBooks ain't to far away.
Wooohoooo! Gimme gimmeh!... I'm betting a lot of geeks will pass up sex with their beloved quite a few nights just to have the awesome power of the G5 in their lap all night long as they're doing anything between heaven and hell on that monster of a processor. I know i would, if i had a girlfriend that is...

Some RSS Feed for lunch anyone?
As i sat here tonight, GmailStatus notified me i had a new email. It was a newsletter from SourceForce.net (whom i'd forgotten i had an account with btw, thank you for reminding me... lol). Was a decently interesting read, most interesting was the mention of Project of the Month - January 2005, RSSOwl.
RSSOwl is a Java based, platform independent, RSS Newsfeed reader/aggregators. I know this program isn't anything new and great that just apeared on the face of the earth a few days ago, but to me it did, cause i'd never heard about till now -- probably cause i hardly ever use RSS feeds -- but its worth mentioning here i believe. Not that anyone will actually read it within the next, well, i donno, we'll see :P... lol
I was quick to download the Mac version of RSSOwl to have a go at it, and its quite a nice program. It comes with a wide range of Favorites to RSS feeds, everything from Slashdot.org to Variety.com (book reviews) and lots more. A link to the article on the website is of course also provided, which when clicked it loaded within RSSOwl itself. So no need for external browsers launching if you're the kinda person concerned about system resources (or just have a slow computer :P).
All in all, its surely worth taking at least a quick look at ;)

And so it begins...
...my blog, yepp, my blog, not that its anything awesome or something, but i'll try to keep things interesting, on an insane level with lots of ranting. As you probably already know, i'm using a stock templete from blogger.com atm, simply cause i'm to lazy to do anything myself. For now anyway.
So, as for anyone that might somehow stumble across this by mear random (bad) luck, i'm 18 years old (i'll be 19 in less than a week), i'm a web developer & designer, with long blonde hair (yes i'm a guy, a male damnit thank you! :P). In general i'm a geek, to insane levels, and a heavy mac user, "After 3 long years in the dark hell of so called Windows™, i found the bright light of the holy Apple". Ok, maybe thats overdoing it, basically i've had to many problems with PCs and Windows that i got sick and tired of it completely, had a close look at Macs, and fell in love... now i got myself a 15" PowerBook :D.
I'm eventually gonna get off my lazy ass and put together my own site and so forth, for now i only have the domain name -- zynode.com -- but no hosting :P, all in due time...
And now you can relax, cause i'm not gonna torture anyone anymore with this post, cause i'm all done ;)
